FACTS
Micropur
prevents the growth of germs and the development of smells in drinking
water containers and pipes
The
effect of Micropur is based on the bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties
of silver. Unlike chlorine, which is only effective for a few hours in
water, silver ions will preserve water for up to 6 months. The silver
ions cling to the cell walls of micro-organisms thus hindering their growth
Micropur
can be used wherever water remains in a system for a long time air conditioners,
heating systems, humidifiers, wells, water tanks, water baths, incubators
etc.
Ideal
for conserving water in boats, campers, caravans, and also for treating
water in hotel rooms
For
clear, not for cloudy water as suspended matter can weaken the effect
of silver ions. Use Katadyn Filter for cloudy water

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
Active
Sodium silver chloride complex with silver ions substances: (0.1 mg per
1l water). All ingredients used are permissible for use in drinking water
Effect:
Conserves clear water for up to 6 months.
Deactivates
bacteria* after 2 hours of contact

Safety:
If Micropur gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with water. Not necessary
to declare as a dangerous substance when travelling
Storage:
Store in the original packaging in a dry place under 25°C

Tablets, Powder: 10 years from manufacture date, Liquid: 5 years

FACT SHEET USE (only for clear water)
Micropur Tablets
Put tablets in container, fill with water and mix well for 10 minutes,
let them take effect (120 mins).
Micropur Powder
Put the appropriate amount of powder into the empty or half full water
container. Fill the container immediately with the required amount of
water. The turbulence which occurs when you fill the container helps mix
the Micropur and the water. Additional stirring is not necessary. If Micropur
is added to the container after it has been filled, the water has to be
stirred so that the silver ions are distributed evenly. Let it take effect
(120 mins).
Micropur Liquid
Put the appropriate amount of liquid into the empty or half full water
container. Immediately fill the container with the required amount of
clear water. The turbulence which occurs when you fill the container helps
mix the Micropur and the water. Additional stirring is not necessary.
If Micropur is added to the container after it has been filled, the water
has to be stirred so that the silver ions are distributed evenly. Let
it take effect (120 mins).
